Before Lighting
Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface to avoid damage.
Keep Away from Drafts: Avoid placing your candle in areas with drafts, fans, or air conditioning to prevent uneven burning and soot formation.
While Burning
Burn Time: For the first burn, let the candle melt across the entire surface to prevent tunnelling and create an even burn (approximately 2-4 hours).
Safety First: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always burn within sight.
Keep Away from Flammable Objects: Ensure the candle is at least 12 inches away from anything that can catch fire.
Avoid Moving the Candle: Do not move the candle while it's burning or the wax is still hot.
After Burning
Extinguishing the Flame: Use a candle top or snuffer to extinguish the flame. Avoid blowing out the candle to prevent hot wax from splattering.
Let Wax Harden: Allow the wax to cool and harden completely before relighting, touching, or moving the candle.
Storage: Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance and prevent discolouration.
General Tips
Burn within Sight: Always burn your candle in a well-ventilated room but away from drafts, other heat sources, and anything flammable.
Keep Candles Out of Reach: Ensure candles are placed out of the reach of children and pets.
Dispose Properly: Once the candle has about 1/2 inch of wax remaining, it's time to discontinue use. This prevents the container from overheating.
